Bernard has a passion for transformative innovation, product design and development, across industries as diverse as health care, public safety and online advertising. As the founder of Incubation Partners, a provider of professional services for enterprise innovation management, Bernard works with clients to develop and implement effective innovation and product incubation strategies and programs.
Bernard was a founding Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of Health2047, Inc., an AMA-backed, integrated innovation company whose design-led, applied research and development studio is dedicated to the improvement of patient health outcomes.
Prior to Health2047, Bernard was a Senior Director of Engineering at Microsoft Live Labs, a partnership between MSN and Microsoft Research that focused on applied research for Internet products and services, and of Business Management for the Business Platform Division within Microsoft Server & Tools, responsible for Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Azure, and Commerce Server.
Bernard brings more than 30 years of experience in consulting, technology program management, and the development and management of advanced R&D teams and technologies to leading FTSE 100 companies in the U.K. and Europe, and Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. across product management, production engineering, operations, and research disciplines.
Bernard received his PhD in Physical Chemistry and BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine, London and has held various positions at Yahoo!, Overture Services, Greenwich NatWest, and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
